A: The web site migration service that our company is offering is free (to a certain extent). We’ll transfer your web site(s) to our top–tier cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from personal experience that switching web hosting providers can result in lost data and undesired downtime. This is the reason why we’ll perform all that for you for free!We have knowledgeable administrators whose sole assignment is to make certain that your site performs exactly as it did on your previous web hosting platform. Our administrators are experts in migrating custom–built web sites, as well as web sites that are based upon famous applications like Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time window, since there are lots of variables, including the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our very best to move your website within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not very large).

A: Yes. We’ll require the name of the web site that you would like us to transfer. We will also require a way to log in to your old hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your web site.

A: While we migrate your website, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous hosting provider. Once the migration is complete, we will ensure that everything is working correctly and that the integrity of your data is not affected prior to telling you that the migration is complete. After that, we will explain to you how to move the domain to your hosting account with us and how to update your DNS resource records.

A: Nah. Aside from your login info for the Control Panel, we do not need anything. We will never contact your hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the migration either.

A: Yeah. We support all regular Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven web hosting platforms, as we don’t offer Windows hosting solutions ourselves.We also don’t support proprietary site building and management tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
